YOU can deterimine the News

So, here's the neatest part about adding the Pushing Daisies widget (last post) to your Facebook/MySpace/Social Network-of-choice page

If enough people add the same widget at the same time... these systems are programmed to pick up on on it, and make the Cause a news story across the social network.

For now you can use the ABC widget to make the news story - WATCH PUSHING DAISIES TONIGHT. And if someone knows of a better Save Pushing Daisies widget, please share!

Widget me baby!

Be sure to add to your facebook, blogger, myspace, whatever page * with a note for them to TUNE IN these next two weeks!

Your Online Toolkit - Emerson Style

I love the show, you love the show, but sending flower bouquets ain't going to get the job done.

Let's be Emerson Card about this and think WHAT does ABC want? They want to make money. They want buzz. They want viewers. They want to make money.

So how do we do that? We get creative.

1. GRAB the ABC Pushing Daisies Widget
Why? Your Facebook page... people can't stop looking at. Post this video widget to your facebook wall, your blog, your myspace page and give your friends an intro to the show.

2. Forget iTunes for repeat viewing- use the ABC.com video player
Why?
WARNER BROTHERS, not ABC/Disney, is the production company behind the show. So WB makes money when you buy the episode on iTunes - NOT ABC. And remember, it's ABC who's going to decide if the Piemaker has baked his last pie.

3. Yes, yes, Sign the Petition

Why? You get this one.

4. Email with Content - Interesting Content.
Why? You've probably complained about a good show being cancelled before. Why not give friends the intro-comic-book this time instead of just an earful?

5. Gift your friends an iTunes episode of Pushing Daisies

Why? You btw, keep watching on abc.com, but if your friends and family are being resistant... people love free things. Especially something someone else paid for. So gift them your favorite Pushing Daisies episode to get them hooked! My personal favorite - Dummy.
